Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The Glera grapes come from vineyards farmed according to organic principles, with certification from Valoritalia and EU Organic.
Vinification
The grapes are pressed as whole bunches in a pneumatic press. The first fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks at controlled temperatures. A second fermentation is carried out by the Charmat method at 15–16 °C. When the intended alcohol and sugar levels are reached, the temperature is lowered to stop fermentation. Following a short stabilization period, the wine is bottled under pressure.
Tasting profile
The aroma is clean and delicate, with fruit and floral notes. The palate is light and refined, likewise marked by fruit and flowers.
Label / history
La Gioiosa Etamorosa belongs to the Moretti Polegato family, which also owns Villa Sandi and has carried its winemaking traditions through three generations. The company’s name comes from Treviso’s historic designation, “Marca gioiosa et amorosa,” meaning “a joyful and beloved place.” Treviso was once known as the “garden of Venice” because it supplied the city with fruit and vegetables. The founders adopted the region’s traditional description for the company name.
