Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
Produced from Trebbiano d’Abruzzo grown in the Abruzzo Region on medium-textured clay soils. The vines are trained using the awning system, and harvesting takes place in early September.
Grapes
Trebbiano d’Abruzzo.
Vinification
The grapes are destemmed and gently pressed under vacuum to obtain the free-run must. Only its clear fraction is fermented at low temperature for approximately 10 days.
Ageing
The wine matures for 3 months in stainless-steel tanks before bottling.
Technical data
Alcohol: 12.5% vol. Available format: 0.75 L.
Tasting profile
Medium-intensity straw yellow. The intense, fragrant nose centres on white-fleshed fruit, complemented by citrus and dried-fruit nuances. Freshness and sapidity alternate across the palate, while the citrus character returns persistently in the finish.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 8–10°C in a tulip-shaped glass. Suitable as an aperitif and with seafood-based first courses or pizza.
Label / history
Affectionately known as “Il bianco di Ciccio” in honour of the winery’s founder. Like the other Tralcetto wines, its bottle carries a vine twig collected after the annual pruning and tied by hand around the neck, symbolising the connection between wine and territory.
