About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The local Alpine climate is moderated by air from nearby Lake Garda and is particularly well suited to Schiava.

Grapes

Schiava is native to the Adige Valley.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested by hand during the final ten days of September. They undergo several days of cold maceration in steel vats, followed by gentle pressing in an air-buffer press to separate the skins. Fermentation takes place below 20 °C.

Ageing

The wine matures in steel tanks.

Tasting profile

Fresh and fruity.

Label / history

The wine is also known simply as Rose.
