About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Chardonnay grows on the highest, steepest vineyard slopes, in soils of volcanic origin with limestone deposits. The fruit comes from selected growers whose grape quality is monitored by Allegrini.
Vinification
Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature.
Ageing
The wine rests for a short period after fermentation.

Label / history
Corte Giara began in 1989 as a joint project between Allegrini and a group of selected growers in the Valpolicella wine region, combining modern styling with established winemaking traditions.
