About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The grapes come from five plots in the Valdobbiadene DOCG production zone, situated at 300 m above sea level on clay-sandy soils. The vineyards have a planting density of 3,500 vines per hectare and yields of no more than 135 metric quintals per hectare.

Grapes

Selected Glera grapes are supplemented by small amounts of Perera and Bianchetta.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested from September to October as they reach optimal ripeness. After gentle pressing, the juice ferments at a controlled temperature for 30–40 days. Secondary fermentation takes place in pressurised steel tanks using the Charmat method.

Ageing

Before secondary fermentation, the base wine rests in steel tanks for 1–3 months.
