The fruit grows around Leverano in Salento, where the vineyards are influenced by the sea. The area has a mild climate and clay-limestone soils, with tuff in some sites.

Vinification
Harvest takes place in the second half of September. After gentle pressing, the must ferments in stainless-steel tanks.

The wine matures in stainless steel and oak barrels.
