The grapes are grown in Leverano, in the Salento region.
Vinification
The fruit is harvested during the first weeks of September. Vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine matures in stainless steel tanks.
Tasting profile
The nose is intense and inviting. The palate is elegant and savoury, with a pleasant mineral note.
Serving and pairing
Suitable for a light lunch or an aperitif. Local pairings include frisella (also called “friseddhe” in Salento), vegetables with salted ricotta, stracciatella with basil-seasoned zucchini, and tuna in oil.
