About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow in the Monferrato hills in the south of the province of Asti. The vineyards face southwest, at 250–400 metres above sea level, on clay-limestone soils.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested entirely by hand. Fermentation takes place with selected yeasts in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 25–30 °C, followed by malolactic fermentation.
Ageing
The wine rests for five months in steel tanks.
