About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The recently planted Nuovo Quadro vineyard is a small plot on the La Battistina estate in the Gavi di Gavi area. It lies at the foot of the Battistina hill, on chalky, mineral-rich soils that contribute distinctive minerality.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested entirely by hand, chilled to 5 °C at the winery and gently pressed. Following rapid nitrogen flotation, the must ferments in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature for 25–30 days. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine is chilled, then filtered and bottled.

Ageing

The wine rests on its lees at 5 °C for four to six months.

Tasting profile

A rich, aromatic wine with intense fruit and citrus notes, refreshing acidity, pronounced minerality and good structure.
