Label / history
This limited edition was created to mark the 700th anniversary of the death of Dante Alighieri, author of the Divine Comedy and an emblematic figure of Italian culture. Its label reproduces Canadian artist Rick Rojnic’s 2018 reinterpretation of Dante’s portrait from Benozzo Gozzoli’s 1452 fresco cycle Stories from the Life of Saint Francis, preserved in the Museo di Montefalco.
