About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The fruit comes from the "Sabri" vineyard in the Barbera d'Asti province.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested by hand during the first two weeks of October, then destemmed and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks for 10–12 days. Malolactic fermentation follows.

Ageing

Between 67% and 70% of the wine matures in French oak barrels for 12 months, while the remainder spends one year in steel tanks. The wine then rests for a further 60 days in bottle in the winery’s cellars before release.
