About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The grapes are grown in the Barbaresco area of Piedmont.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested in the first half of October, once they have reached suitable ripeness and juiciness. After destemming, fermentation takes place on the skins in temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats for 10–12 days, with regular pump-overs. The wine is stabilized and filtered before bottling.

Ageing

The wine matures for at least 12 months in Slavonian oak casks and French tonneaux, followed by several months in stainless-steel tanks. It then develops for a further year in bottle in the winery’s cellars.

Tasting profile

Ethereal aromas are accompanied by floral notes.
