About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vines are no more than 10 years old and grow at 250–500 m above sea level. The vineyards have varied exposures and stony soils composed mainly of marl.
Grapes
The wine is made from Brunello, also identified as Sangiovese Grosso.
Vinification
Fermentation follows the white-wine method.
Ageing
The wine rests in stainless-steel tanks for 18 months.
Vintage notes
The 2010 harvest produced healthy, ripe and deeply coloured grapes with thick skins and high levels of sugar and acidity.
