The grapes are grown in vineyards in Sicily.
Vinification
The fruit is harvested in the final days of September. Traditional red-wine vinification includes alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 20–27 °C, followed by stabilization.
Ageing
The wine is aged in steel tanks.
