About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The Falanghina is grown in the province of Beneventano in Campania. The vineyards are situated at 250–300 metres above sea level with southeastern exposure. The vines are 15 years old on average.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested from the second half of September until early October. Fermentation is followed by lees ageing in stainless steel tanks.

Ageing

The wine rests on its lees in stainless steel tanks for three months, followed by additional time in bottle.

Tasting profile

Well-balanced and very refreshing.

Label / history

“Lapilli” means volcanic stones, like those found in the vineyard soils of the mountainous areas of southern Italy. The wine belongs to a range made in Campania from traditional local white and red grape varieties.
