About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

Veneto. Clay and sandstone soils. In a varied landscape governed by a temperate climate, light and breezes allow Merlot to ripen gradually.

Grapes

Merlot.

Vinification

The harvested grapes are destemmed and fermented with 7–8 days of maceration to extract colour and structure. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentations take place in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 25–27°C.

Technical data

Veneto IGT. Alcohol: 12% vol., an indicative value that may vary by ±0.5% vol. Bottle format: 750 ml.

Tasting profile

Intense red. The clean bouquet combines violet, blackcurrant and cherry. Elegant and well structured, with a full-bodied, soft and enveloping character. The palate is balanced and delicate, with evident tannins and a persistent finish.

Serving and pairing

Pairs with savoury risottos, richly sauced pasta, stuffed ravioli, white and red meats, roasts and grilled dishes. The wine page recommends 16–18°C, whereas the technical sheet gives 8–10°C.
