About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The grapes grow exclusively in the hills of Tortona.

Grapes

Selected grapes of the rare indigenous Timorasso variety are used.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested by hand and vinified entirely in small stainless-steel tanks.

Ageing

The wine spends 18 months on its fine lees, followed by further development in bottle.

Tasting profile

Fresh and structured, with a pronounced mineral character.

Vintage notes

In 2019, Piemonte experienced a long winter and late spring. High summer temperatures and good groundwater reserves encouraged rapid vine growth. A long, mild autumn supported full ripening, while the grapes remained in very good health throughout the growing season.
