About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyard is located in San Pietro in Cariano at 110 m above sea level. Its fairly light, stony soils are alluvial, and the vines average 31 years of age.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand in mid-September and pressed at the winery. The must remains in contact with the skins during a 12-hour cold maceration, then ferments for approximately 15 days at a controlled temperature of 16 °C.
Ageing
The wine matures in stainless-steel tanks for four months, followed by two months of rest in bottle.
