About this wine
Grapes
The blend is based mainly on the native Turbiana grape, also known as Trebbiano di Lugana, with 10% Chardonnay. The Chardonnay is included to emphasize the youthful character of the local fruit; the grapes’ high fixed acidity prompted the choice of sparkling-wine production.
Vinification
Made by the traditional method. After harvest, the grapes are pressed directly and fermented in stainless-steel tanks without malolactic fermentation.
Ageing
The wine spends at least 24 months on its lees in bottle, followed by a further four months of bottle maturation after disgorgement.
Tasting profile
Lively and refined, with an appealing aroma and flavour.
Serving and pairing
Suitable for a wide range of appetizers and main courses.
