About this wine
Ageing
Released after five years of bottle ageing. Although conceived as a wine that can be enjoyed in its vintage, it develops its finest expression many years after bottling.
Technical data
Lugana DOC. The published 2020 vintage has 13% alcohol and is presented in a 750 ml bottle.
Tasting profile
In youth it is fresh, linear, refined and elegant, with delicate white-flower aromas, balsamic notes and hints of apricot. With time, its mineral character becomes more pronounced and the bouquet gains iodine-like nuances, spices and candied fruit. The palate is enveloping and markedly savoury, supported by lively, exuberant acidity.
Serving and pairing
When young, serve at around 10°C with delicate cold or warm starters or with boiled, steamed or grilled fish.
