About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are grown in the producer’s vineyards in Friuli.
Vinification
Harvest usually takes place by hand during the first two ten-day periods of September. After destemming, the grapes are gently pressed in cooled pneumatic presses. The first fermentation occurs in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks, followed by a second fermentation in autoclaves using the Charmat method.
Ageing
The wine rests briefly in bottle.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 9–10 °C in summer and 10–12 °C in autumn and winter.
Label / history
Cantina Produttori Cormons was founded in northeastern Italy in 1962 by eleven winegrowers and wine producers. Its members established comprehensive production rules intended to maintain wine quality independently of changing fashions. The consortium oversees production from vine planting through winemaking, works with research institutes and introduces new methods intended to improve quality while observing environmental standards.
