About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are grown in Carmignano (PO) on complex, heterogeneous soils and harvested during the first half of August.
Grapes
The wine page identifies Sangiovese, while the technical sheet identifies Pinot Noir. These are conflicting specifications for the same non-vintage wine.
Vinification
A brief period of skin contact is followed by alcoholic fermentation in stainless-steel tanks for approximately 10 days at 18°C. The wine undergoes its sparkling fermentation in autoclaves for six months, using the Charmat–Martinotti method.
Technical data
Non-vintage Brut with 11.5% alcohol and 8 g/L residual sugar. Production totals 12,265 bottles of 0.75 L.
Tasting profile
Delicate pale pink. The aroma is intensely floral, led by rose and white flowers. The palate is fresh, elegant and balanced, with rose, violet and green apple joined by light citrus accents. Harmonious and easy-drinking, it finishes soft and persistent.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 8–12°C. Suitable as an aperitif or alongside fish, delicate dishes and marine flavours.
Label / history
First produced in 2019, Vittoria is dedicated to Vittoria Contini Bonacossi, an important woman in the estate family’s 20th-century history.
