Grapes
A blend of Procanico, Verdello, Grechetto and Malvasia from Umbria. This sweet late-harvest white is presented as Orvieto DOP Classico Superiore Vendemmia Tardiva.

Tasting profile
Deep golden in colour, with a broad, complex and elegant bouquet of white flowers, dried apricots and honey. Pleasantly sweet, soft and elegant on the palate, with an enveloping finish.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 12–14 °C with dry pastries or tarts filled with apricot jam.
Label / history
The name was inspired by Armida, a character in Torquato Tasso’s Jerusalem Delivered. Armida is a young Muslim sorceress of captivating beauty, intelligence and strength who sets out to seduce the crusader Rinaldo through beauty and magic, only to fall in love herself. The wine’s soft, sweet and enveloping character echoes this seductive literary figure.
