About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The Sangiovese comes from a single 2 ha vineyard, “Vignalparco”. Eighty geese graze between the rows, eating grass and insects that can harm the vines; their droppings naturally fertilize the land, while their presence helps compact the soil. Since 2015, the vineyard has been farmed according to biodynamic practices without tractors.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested entirely by hand. Fermentation and skin maceration last 15 days.

Ageing

The wine matures for two years in 500-litre French barrels, followed by six months in bottle.

Tasting profile

Distinctive and well structured, with freshness, soft tannins and excellent length. It has a firm structure and a complex bouquet.

Serving and pairing

Pair with roasted red meat.
