About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from hillside vineyards in Bassa Atesina. Abundant sunshine and fresh breezes support varietal development. The vines are between 3 and 50 years old and grow in limestone soils particularly suited to Lagrein.
Vinification
The grapes are gently pressed and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine matures for 18 months in barriques, followed by 6 months in stainless-steel vats and a further 6 months in bottle in the winery’s cellars.
