About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from vineyards around Tramin, Egna and Magrè, in the heart of the region’s Gewürztraminer-producing area. The vines are between 3 and 50 years old and grow in sandy clay soils.
Vinification
The grapes are gently pressed and allowed to settle naturally. Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks at 18–20 °C.
Ageing
The wine rests for at least four months before bottling.
Tasting profile
The nose is rich, with rose aromas characteristic of the variety. The palate is balanced, with ripe-fruit notes and a lightly spicy, smoky finish.
Serving and pairing
Suitable as an aperitif and with seafood or charcoal-grilled fish.
