About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The grapes are grown in the Chianti wine region between Florence and Siena. The vines are 15 years old on average.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested by hand at optimal ripeness and gently crushed. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks at 24–26 °C for 7–10 days, followed by post-fermentation maceration, malolactic fermentation and double filtration.

Ageing

The wine ages for 24 months in a combination of new and old Slavonian oak barrels.

Serving and pairing

Pair with meat dishes, pasta or hard cheeses.
