About this wine
Grapes
Equal parts Sangiovese and Merlot.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested in the first half of September. Maceration lasts 7–8 days in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 25–30 °C, followed by malolactic fermentation.
Ageing
The wine ages for two months in French oak barrels.
Tasting profile
The 2009 vintage is fresh and full-flavoured, with a very soft texture.
