About this wine

Grapes

A pure expression of Trebbiano, presented as a variety deeply rooted in Chianti's white-wine tradition.

Vinification

Stainless steel preserves freshness, while acacia contributes another dimension without masking the grape. The resulting style is bright, taut and fresh.

Technical data

Toscana IGT. Production is limited to 1,250 individually numbered bottles, reserved for members of the Mazzei Wine Club.

Tasting profile

Bright and taut, with freshness at the centre of its profile.

Label / history

“Tribbiano” reproduces the historical spelling found in the papers of Ser Lapo Mazzei around six centuries ago. Those records also belong to the period in which Ser Lapo became the first person to use “Chianti” to identify a wine rather than only its place of origin. This is the estate's first interpretation of Trebbiano as a standalone wine and one of two pure-variety releases in Collezione Privata.
