About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vines grow in sandy soils in Santa Croce, near Modena.
Grapes
The blend comprises 90% Lambrusco Grasparossa with a small proportion of other local Lambrusco varieties.
Vinification
Harvest begins in the first week of October and is carried out by hand. After selection, the grapes are crushed in small vessels. Fermentation on the lees lasts 5–7 days at a controlled temperature of 20 °C.
Tasting profile
Well balanced, light and expressive, with a fruity character.
