About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyard land formed part of the seabed four million years ago, and ancient fossils can still be found between the vine rows.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested relatively early to preserve their natural acidity, then pressed gently to encourage aromatic expression while limiting pigment extraction from the skins. Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks, without malolactic fermentation. After ageing, the wine is cold-stabilized, filtered and bottled under sterile conditions.
Ageing
The wine rests in stainless-steel tanks to retain its freshness and energy.
Tasting profile
The winemaking emphasizes natural acidity, freshness, energy and aromatic character.
Label / history
The label features the “Vitruvian Man” as a tribute to Leonardo da Vinci, the artist and inventor after whom the winery was named.
