About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from Val delle Rose’s vineyards, at 150 metres above sea level, where the soils are stony and sandy. The estate lies in the Morellino di Scansano area.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested in the first week of September. Fermentation lasts 18 days in small and medium-sized steel tanks at temperatures no higher than 15 °C.
Ageing
After bottling, the wine rests for two months in the estate’s cellars.
Label / history
Cecchi acquired the Val delle Rose estate in 1996.
