About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from estate vineyards in the Morellino di Scansano area, at 150 metres above sea level. The soils are sandy and rich in quartz.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested in the second half of September and fermented in stainless-steel tanks for 15 days at temperatures not exceeding 25 °C.
Ageing
The wine matures in oak barrels for 12 months.
