About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow in vineyards in the Chianti region at an altitude of 700 m.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand at optimal ripeness. After fermentation, the wine remains in contact with the skins for 8–10 days.
Ageing
The wine matures in oak barrels for three months.

Label / history
Wines under the Chiantigiane label are produced by several small wineries that pool their resources. Their vineyards cover 2,460 ha in total, and the cellars are located in the provinces of Florence, Siena and Pistoia.
