About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
Yield is low, around 2 kg per vine.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested with great care and sorted by hand. Fermentation takes place in small stainless-steel vats and lasts 15 days, allowing the must to gain colour and structure. A 45-day maceration on the skins follows, giving depth and a powerful character.
Ageing
The wine spends 30 months in large oak barrels, developing slowly and gaining a velvety texture and refined spice aromas. A further 8 months in stainless steel brings clarity and harmony. It is released four years after the harvest, when it is considered fully ready to enjoy.
Tasting profile
Exceptionally refined, with a velvety texture and refined spice aromas. Balanced, powerful in character and deep. It is already drinking beautifully, and its balance also suits long ageing.
Serving and pairing
Pairs with roast meat, game and aged cheeses.
