The Lambrusco fruit is grown in Emilia.
Vinification
The grapes are crushed immediately on arrival at the winery. The must is chilled at once and transferred to temperature-controlled tanks. The wine is produced by the Charmat method and bottled at very low temperatures using airtight equipment to retain freshness and aromatic intensity.
Tasting profile
Light and semi-sweet, with delicate bubbles, a bright aroma, rich flavour and freshness. The Lambrusco character becomes more pronounced over time.
Label / history
Cleto Chiarli founded the company in 1860 after making Lambrusco for customers at Trattoria dell'Artigliere in central Modena. In 2002, Mauro and Anselmo Chiarli decided to build a new winery at the Azienda Agricola Castelvetro estate. The facility began producing Lambrusco under the “Cleto Chiarli” brand in 2003.
