About this wine
Vinification
The grapes are crushed immediately on arrival at the winery. The must is chilled at once and transferred to temperature-controlled tanks. The wine is produced by the Charmat method and bottled at very low temperatures using airtight equipment to retain freshness and aromatic intensity.

Label / history
Emilia takes its name from an ancient road that linked Rome with northern Italy. Cleto Chiarli founded the company in 1860 after making Lambrusco for guests at Trattoria dell'Artigliere in central Modena, which he had managed. In 2002, Mauro and Anselmo Chiarli decided to build a new winery at Azienda Agricola Castelvetro; the facility began producing Lambrusco under the “Cleto Chiarli” brand in 2003.
