Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from the company’s vineyards in Emilia-Romagna.
Vinification
After harvest, the grapes are gently pressed and fermented in stainless-steel tanks with selected yeasts. The wine is bottled under pressure.
Serving and pairing
Recommended pairings include smoked meats, sausages, charcuterie, pasta and traditional dishes from Emilia-Romagna.
Label / history
Cleto Chiarli founded the company in 1860 after managing Trattoria dell’Artigliere in central Modena, where he made Lambrusco for regular customers. The favourable reception encouraged him to produce it for wider sale. The family owns more than 90 ha of vineyards in the Lambrusco DOC production area. In 2002, Mauro and Anselmo Chiarli decided to build a new winery at the Azienda Agricola Castelvetro estate.
