Vineyard and terroir
Contarini’s vineyards cover 12 hectares. The Alps shelter them from cold northern winds, while breezes from the Adriatic Sea bring warmth. The soils encourage the development of rich flavours and aromas. The winery also holds long-term contracts with regional growers whose vineyards total 1,500 hectares.
Tasting profile
The wine is gently sparkling, with delicate floral and fruity aromas. The palate is juicy, balancing lively acidity with fruity sweetness.
Label / history
The bottle is sealed with natural cork and tied with string, reportedly by hand at the Contarini winery.
