About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow on stony soils with a surface layer of sand, clay and marl. The vines are 10–15 years old.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested mechanically at optimal ripeness. Pinot Nero undergoes a short maceration, followed by fermentation in steel tanks and malolactic fermentation. Glera is pressed and then fermented immediately in steel tanks at low temperature. The base wine undergoes a second fermentation with sugar and yeast in sealed pressure tanks using the Charmat method.
Tasting profile
The aroma is complex, while the palate is fresh and refreshing.
