About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The family owns 26 ha of vineyards in the Langhe. The vineyards stand at 200 m above sea level, surrounded by Lebanese cedars; almost all are clustered around the hilltop winery in Annunziata.
Tasting profile
Deep ruby in colour. The fresh, powerful and complex nose combines spice, ripe red berries and woody notes. Bright fruit and gentle acidity shape the palate, with refined tannins, balanced structure and a long finish.
Label / history
The estate’s winemaking history dates to 1920, when Montafaletto passed from the Falletti family, wine producers since the Middle Ages, to the Montezemolo family.
