About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Chardonnay is grown in the commune of Neive, in the province of Cuneo, with a yield of 50 hectolitres per hectare.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand, placed in 20 kg crates and transported to the winery for gentle pressing. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in 225-litre French oak barrels.
Ageing
The wine rests on its lees for at least 12 months in 225-litre French oak barrels.

Rich and vibrant, with a pleasantly refreshing character.
Label / history
Valletta has been the Rivetti family’s nickname since the mid-19th century. The wine was first released in 1998, the year the family bought the Valletta farm, which had previously belonged to them. It is produced in limited quantities and only in the best vintages.
