Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are grown in Emilia-Romagna, described as one of Italy’s most fertile wine-growing areas.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness and gently pressed at the winery in a pneumatic press. The must is settled at low temperature, then fermented in stainless-steel tanks at 10–12 °C. A second fermentation follows in sealed autoclaves using the Italian Charmat method, after which the wine is bottled.
