About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow in vineyards in Tufo, in mineral-rich soils.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand in mid-October and fermented in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature using selected native yeasts. Malolactic fermentation is carried out only partially, according to the vintage's natural acidity. The wine is lightly filtered before bottling.
Ageing
The wine rests on its lees for nine months, followed by a further year in the winery's cellars before release.
Label / history
Four centuries ago, the Marzo family was the first to plant Greco vines in the area, bringing them from the slopes of Mount Vesuvius.
