About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from the “Maceone” vineyard, where the soils are composed of slate and clay. Drones fitted with multispectral cameras support precision vineyard management.
Grapes
The wine is made from selected Sangiovese grapes.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested entirely by hand to preserve their integrity. At the winery, they are destemmed and vinified in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine matures for 24 months in oak barriques, followed by 16 months of bottle ageing in the winery’s cellars.
Tasting profile
The ageing develops depth, richness and concentration.
