About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The Nebbiolo grapes are selected and come from the San Lorenzo vineyard in Verduno.

Vinification

Maceration and fermentation last 30 days in stainless steel tanks, at a controlled temperature of 26–28 °C.

Ageing

The wine ages in stages. It spends first 6 months in small 1000 l French oak barrels, then time in larger 2500 l oak barrels. After bottling it continues to mature in bottle until its flavours are fully developed.

Tasting profile

Rich and expressive. The palate shows cherry and plum with a touch of sweet spice. The aroma combines floral and herbal notes with juicy berry accents.

Serving and pairing

Pairs with hearty meat dishes and aged cheeses.
