About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow without herbicides in the hills of Collio at an altitude of 210 m, on soils composed of layers of clay and sandstone.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand and destemmed. Skin contact lasts no more than one day, followed by gentle pressing. The must is separated from the sediment and fermented in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 16–18 °C. Each stage of production is timed according to the phases of the Moon.
Ageing
The wine ages on its lees for seven months before filtration and bottling, then matures further in the winery’s cellars.
Tasting profile
Rich, full-flavoured and aromatic.
