About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot are grown without herbicides on hills in San Floriano del Collio, at an altitude of 210 m. The soils consist of layers of clay marl and sandstone.
Vinification
Made in a French style, the wine is produced from grapes harvested by hand in early October. Fermentation takes place in conical oak vats without temperature control, with 30 days of skin maceration.
Ageing
The wine ages for two years in French oak barriques. After bottling, it matures for an additional, unspecified period in the winery’s cellars.
