About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The grapes grow on steep southeast- and southwest-facing slopes between 250 and 900 m above sea level. Cool mountain vineyards alternate with warmer mid-elevation sites, while pronounced differences between daytime and nighttime temperatures reflect the meeting of Alpine and Mediterranean influences. The calcareous soils contain clay, sand and porphyry. The fruit is picked entirely by hand.

Grapes

100% Pinot Grigio.

Vinification

The grapes are carefully crushed and pressed after harvest. The fresh must undergoes static clarification at low temperature before gentle fermentation in steel tanks at a controlled 20°C.

Ageing

The young wine remains in steel tanks on its fine lees for several months.

Technical data

The 2025 wine has 13.00% alcohol, total acidity of 5.3 g/L and residual sugar of 1.4 g/L. It is available in 0.75 L bottles and has an estimated ageing capacity of 3–4 years.

Tasting profile

Light straw yellow. Ripe pear, white pepper and sage shape the fruity aroma. The palate combines mineral and saline richness with crisp acidity and a firm backbone.

Serving and pairing

Serve at 12–14°C. Pair with substantial first courses, grilled fish, mild cheeses or cheese fondue, or pour as an aperitif.

Vintage notes

The 2025 harvest commenced on 27 August and finished just over a month later. Relatively early flowering preceded a warm, dry June and a much cooler July, which supported natural freshness and acidity. August provided favourable ripening conditions. September brought alternating sunshine and occasional late-harvest rain, with healthy, balanced grapes arriving at the cellar.
