About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from selected vineyards in Mezzocorona and Mezzolombardo, where the stony soils carry a thin, fertile layer of humus. Yields do not exceed 90 hl per hectare.
Grapes
The name Teroldego probably derives from the German "Tiroler Gold", meaning "gold from Tyrol". The variety is also known as the "prince" of Trentino.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation take place at controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks and large oak casks.
Ageing
The wine is aged for one year in large oak casks.
Tasting profile
Soft and well balanced.
